Saturday, September 5, 2009 The tenth anniversary of the annual race sponsored by the Oceanport Racing Report took place on the under card of The Sorority and Sapling Stakes. At left is the winner, Mad Dasher, of the Maiden $38,000 race for maiden two-year-old fillies going five and one-half furlongs over a main track labeled as fast. The two-year-old chestnut filly by Purge out of the Saint Ballado mare Mad Donna is owned by D.J. Stable LLC, trained by Joseph Orseno and was ridden by Daniel Centeno. |
